State leaders are waiting for instruction to leave or stay

(Selangor, Petaling Jaya 7 June) After PAS muktamar passed a resolution to severe ties with DAP, state leaders of PAS and DAP are observing the changes. Some leaders are of the view that the decision has not be finalised. Some are prepared to leave upon receiving instruction.
Johor DAP: waiting for instruction from headquarters
Johor DAP chairman Liew Chin Tong and Johor state opposition leader Dr Boo Cheng Hau said that they are waiting for instruction from party headquarters on how to collaborate with PAS in future.
Liew Chin Tong: Getting more support from Malays
Liew said that the party is seeking more support from Malay leaders and voters.
“Two third of constituency in Johor are mixed area. To achieve breakthrough, apart from getting support from non-Malay voters, DAP also has to become a party to vote for Malay voters in urban and semi urban areas.”
Dr Boo Cheng Hau: Central committee is likely to convene an emergency meeting
Skudai state assemblyman Dr Boo believes the central committee would be calling for an emergency meeting to discuss matters pertaining to collaboration with PAS.
Johor PAS: three parties would still discuss issues
Johor PAS chairman Aminolhuda Hassan said Johor PAS would abide by decision of party headquarters but he would maintain private ties with Johor DAP and discuss various issues with PKR and DAP for a common stand.
Kelantan
Three Chinese village heads from DAP, two from Kota Bharu and one from Gua Musang are observing the changes by not making any move.
“In Kota Bharu, village heads under DAP continue to work with Chinese village heads of PAS. We have been handling people’s issues. Decision made by top level is beyond our control.”
Kedah
Tan Kok Yew, Kedah DAP chairman said from now on collaboration with PAS would be impossible. Having a cup of coffee together is still fine.
He said Kedah DAP would follow footsteps of party headquarters.
All joint activities between Kedah DAP and PAS would be called off from now on.
Perak
State leaders of PAS and DAP said they would abide by the decision made by party headquarters.
Malacca
Goh Leong San, Malacca state chairman of DAP said the state DAP would abide by the decision made by party headquarters.
As he has yet to receive instruction from party headquarters, he does not know the level of severing ties.
Sarawak
Sarawak PAS chairman Adam Ahi hopes Sarawak DAP to return to Pakatan Rakyat.
“Sarawak PAS has been loyal to Sarawak Pakatan Rakyat. Opposition should point their gun at Barisan Nasional instead of members in Pakatan Rakyat.
Sarawak DAP chairman Chong Chieng Jen said based on PAS muktamar, the early decision of withdrawing from Sarawak Pakatan Rakyat is correct.
He also reminded Sarawak PKR that only severing ties with PAS that both DAP and PKR would have the possibility of working together. As long as PAS and PKR are together, the party would have no chance working with PKR.
