“Representatives can raise their own topic but there are more important topics like Chinese schools, Sedition Act, threats posed by ISIS etc., these topics are relevant to the continuity of royalty, religion and race, and also directly related to how outsiders view and position Umno.”
“Umno must find ways to ensure that the atrocities committed by ISIS in Libya, Iraq and other countries would not be happened in Malaysia. Never think that we can escape from all these threats.”

Hishammuddin reiterated that Umno’s political struggle was to safeguard the royalty, religion and Malay position. “Outsiders can’t criticize on the objective of Umno’s political struggle, but to let the outsiders accept Umno’s struggle in the context of a plural society, will have to make use of the existing channel.

“At the Umno general assembly, we will express our stand on issues like Sedition Act, security and education, whether or not it can be translated and accepted by parties representing other race or religion, we have been doing our best from last time by not dividing our country, affecting the multi-racial community and not hurting the sensitivities of those of other race and belief,” he said.
