England reduced petrol price, Malaysia increased petrol price. Lim Guan Eng urges Government to respond

Penang – Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng urged the Federal Government to address why petrol prices in India and England reduced, and our petrol price has to be increased?

Lim Guan Eng said in the press conference held on Thursday that according to the news reports, India petrol prices has gone down 4 cents a few days ago, and England petrol price also reduced 27 cents but our petrol price has instead increased by 20 cents per liter.

He said, the Federal Government wishes to reduce the budget deficit and the subsidies which resulted in the hike of petrol prices. However, in order to reduce the deficit, it first has to get rid of corruption.

Lim Guan Eng said, in one of the research reports of KPMG, Malaysia’s image of being giving brides and corruption is getting worse. If our nation’s corruption get aggravated then the Minister in the Prime Minister Ministry Paul Law should resign.
